Hallmark Announces ‘The Groomsmen’ Starring Tyler Hynes, Jonathan Bennett, B.J. Britt

Now it is time for the guys to have their own Wedding Veil movies. On Thursday, Hallmark announced at the TCA Summer 2024 The Groomsmen, a trilogy of movies starring Jonathan Bennett, Tyler Hynes, and B.J. Britt. The trio went on stage doing a boy band dance to “Shake Your Groove Thing.” They brought a lot of good energy and excitement for this new project.

What is this trio of movies about? Most of all, where will viewers get to see them? Here are the latest details.

What Is Hallmark’s The Groomsmen About?

Now it is time for the guys to share their wedding experience. What is Hallmark’s The Groomsmen about? According to TV Line, this trio of movies “follows the lives/romantic relationships of three best friends of different backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations – Pete, a kind-hearted pediatrician with a penchant for planning; Danny, an ex-jock with a heart of gold; and Jackson, the stylish and charming social media agent – as they find love and wedding bliss in picturesque locations Greece, Italy, and Bulgaria.”

What Are The Names Of The Three Groomsmen Movies?

Hallmark also announced the names of each of The Groomsmen movies. The first is First Look. Next is Second Chances. Lastly, the third is called Last Dance.

Both Jonathan Bennett and Tyler Hynes are executive producers of this movie. Director Ron Oliver directed all three movies in 45 days. They were filmed on location in Greece, Italy, and Bulgaria, just like The Wedding Veil movies.

The Groomsmen Will Premiere On The New Hallmark+ Streaming Service

Viewers who want to see Tyler Hynes, Jonathan Bennett, and B.J. Britt in The Groomsmen will need to sign up for Hallmark’s new streaming service Hallmark+. This will launch sometime in mid-September. That means the trilogy will premiere sometime this fall. However, It seems likely that the streamer will premiere one movie at a time.

Hallmark Media Excited To Tell Stories From Groom’s Side

The Groomsmen trilogy is the first set of movies to tell a Hallmark wedding story from the groom’s point of view. Philicia Kennedy-Flamer, manager of programming at Hallmark Media shared the network’s enthusiasm. “We can’t wait for viewers to come along on these romantic journeys in new and fresh ways as we tell this story from the groom’s side for the first time ever.”

Next, she described the trio of actors as a “dream team.” Moreover, she promises full romcom content. “Their performances are infused with a humor and warmth that brings these stories to life beyond our expectations and created something truly special.”
