‘Bachelorette’ Alum Reveals Father Did Not Attend Their Wedding
A Bachelorette alum revealed that their father did not attend their wedding. This was shocking to fans as a father is usually an important part of a wedding. However, it did not seem to be the case with this alum. There seemed to be a good reason as to why their father was not there. Keep reading to find out who it was and why.
Bachelorette Alum Does Not Have Father At Wedding
It has been revealed that Chase McNary did not have his father at his wedding. The last time they spoke was during his hometown date with JoJo Fletcher. His father expressed his concerns, and it did not sit well with Chase.
“I actually haven’t talked to my dad since Hometown’s episode on The Bachelor [franchise], which is kind of wild, that whole thing didn’t sit well with our relationship and how it went, so, he’s kind of chosen that way. I’ve chosen this way and we’re okay with that at this point.”
He also revealed that his wife’s father would not be participating either.
“Ellie’s brother is walking her down the aisle, which is kind of cool. So he’s going to be kind of that support figure. He’s amazing. And then, I’ll be walking down with my mom.”
He seemed excited that neither of them would be having their dads participate. Fans understand where he is coming from and sometimes blood does not mean much when it comes to family. As long as they had a good wedding, that was all that mattered.
Chase McNary And Marriage
Chase is excited about marriage. Fans loved hearing him talk about their wedding and his goals for the future. It is safe to say these two are in love.
“I think that can apply to a lot of things. I think growth and our love, growth in our number of family members in our household, growth financially, we have a bunch of goals that we want to hit and we’re both very, very driven individuals. So I think that this next chapter is growth. I just want to continue to do better and better so that Ellie has a better and better life.”
The two had their wedding in the mountains at 11,500 ft of elevation. This was a romantic and intimate wedding for the two.
It seems that Chase just does not have the best relationship with his father. This made him not want him at his wedding. Fans cannot blame Chase and are proud of him for putting up boundaries.
