Simon & Nicole Are Both Searching For The Next Boy Band On Different Shows
The former X Factor judge will be taking a role on a new Netflix competition show. She will be serving as a judge on Building The Band, which will ask 50 individuals to compete in hopes of becoming the next hit group. The twist? They’ll not come face to face before they are asked to collaborate. Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean is set to host the Netflix show.
It may come as a surprise to many people that Nicole Scherzinger is participating in the Netflix series. The former X Factor judge is aware of her ex-boss’s current search for a new boy band in his documentary The Midas Touch, which is also set to premiere on Netflix.
However, interest in Simon’s documentary was low. The first two dates for auditions were canceled. Now, Netflix seems to be offering Simon some competition when it comes to creating the next big boy band.

Do The Former X Factor Judges Still Get Along?
Simon Cowell and Nicole Scherzinger have worked on the former’s X Factor UK for a long time. They both appeared on the judging panel in 2016 and 2017. Then they worked together again on X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
While they are working on seemingly similar projects now, there is no love lost between the two. Nicole and Simon have remained friends. He even showed his support for her when she starred in Sunset Boulevard in West End earlier this year.
