Is Kim Kardashian Selling Her Family Home?
Ever since her divorce from Kanye West, many fans have wondered one thing. What is she going to do with her house? During Keeping up with the Kardashians, a major plot point in the later seasons was watching as Kim and Kanye build their dream home together. Since then, the home was the key content in several interviews and in magazines.
Once the two split though, it became unclear what would happen. Since the divorce, Kim has been in the house with their shared children. It seems like this won’t be changing any time soon. According to People, Kim has no intentions of selling their family home. She says that all of her favorite memories happened in that house, despite the divorce drama. Not only that, but she wants it to remain a safe space for her children.
“The best memories I have growing up are in our family home, and I always want to create those memories and safe space for my kids,” Kim reveals. “So, I can’t ever imagine moving.”
A safe space for her too
Not only is the home a safe space for her kids, but Kim has it setup to be a ‘sanctuary’ for herself as well. The reality TV star reveals that the home creates a ‘sense of peace’ that allows her to be ‘present’ with her kids.
“My home provides a much-needed sanctuary of calm,” she says. “When I step inside after a busy day, it creates a sense of peace that allows me to truly be present with my kids. After all, at the end of the day, that’s what matters most.”
In recent seasons of The Kardashians Kim has made it abundantly clear that she is busier than ever despite trying to slow down on her work. So, the fact that she needs a peaceful space to be with her children certainly makes sense.
Only time will tell if she sticks by this, or, if she changes her mind as her kids get older.
