90 Day Fiance stars Kobe Blaise and Emily Bieberly officially exchanged vows in the latest episode of Happily Ever After? It’s been quite a journey for the newlyweds. Growing up in different cultures was one of the biggest challenges for them. It even came to a point where both of their parents ended up with a misunderstanding. Kobe and Emily faced many challenges during their journey, from a long-distance relationship to having trust issues. The 90 Day Fiance stars’ parents also had issues following the “bridal price” that Kobe’s family paid for Emily. Emily’s mother doesn’t like how her daughter was treated like property that they purchased. “To me, it felt like we were selling Emily,” she added before saying that her daughter is already an adult who’s capable of making her own decisions, but she’s not going to be silent about how her girl is seemingly being bought for a price. Kobe’s family explained that it’s an old tradition and has no negative intentions for Emily.

Many fans have been reposting photos and clips from Kobe and Emily’s Cameroonian wedding. The event featured tons of entertainment, including singers and dancers. A traditional exchange gift also happened during the ceremony, and the 90 Day Fiance stars received a live chicken.

Most of the guests also wore traditional Cameroonian attire, which matched the venue decoration. “We only had two weeks to plan our wedding, so we hired a wedding planner who was able to work with Kobe Blaise’s family and friends to give us the most perfect day,” Emily Bieberly added. They also performed multiple ceremonial traditions. One of them is where the bride walks around looking for her groom while holding a cup of palm wine to give to him.

Emily and Kobe Blaise have been thriving in life behind cameras. The Cameroonian native previously launched his own underwear line, BLAZES WEAR. According to the 90 Day Fiance star, he wanted an underwear line that “celebrates African heritage through vibrant and stylish prints.”
Meanwhile, Emily Bieberly has been living happily as a mother of three. The married couple welcomed their third child last March. They also like to go on outdoor trips with the kids. Earlier this month, Emily shared a fun photo with her in-laws as they spent the day at the Seme Beach Hôtel Limbe.
