Caitlyn Jenner Shared Father’s Day Throwbacks Of Herself
When Caitlyn Jenner went through her transition, many areas became gray for those around her. However, now that several years have gone by, her friends and family are learning how to relate to her right where she is. But there are still strong connections to the life she lived before emerging as Cait.
She Appreciates Her Past
Undeniably, when Caitlyn Jenner announced her new life, it was difficult for many to understand how to relate. However, time has allowed her to work through some of the flow of being the woman she wants to be. Although many heartstrings are still connected to the man she used to be. In a heartfelt post, Caitlyn shares memories from the life she once lived.
No matter the name Caitlyn Jenner goes by now, she still has precious memories of raising a family. After Kris Jenner and Rob Kardashian, Sr.’s divorce was final, Caitlyn, then Bruce Jenner, marriage to Kris began in 1991. While Caitlyn’s past is a bit complicated, she was a father alongside three different wives. Caitlyn and Chrystie Scott are parents to Burt Jenner and Cassandra Marino. Additionally, she and Linda Thompson share Brandon Jenner and Brody Jenner. Likewise, Caitlyn and Kris Jenner also share two children, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Furthermore, Caitlyn was a big influence as a stepdad to Kris Jenner’s kids from her prior marriage, Kourtney, Rob, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian.
Caitlyn Jenner Shared Father’s Day Throwbacks Of Herself
While Caitlyn Jenner is confident in her new body and transition, she honors the person she was as Bruce Jenner. On June 16, Caitlyn shared several posts that show her as a father. On her Instagram page, she reshared several throwback photos with her young kids. She says looking at the photos of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, “Love these tbts! In honor of Father’s Day!”
Next to a more recent photo, Caitlyn says, “Love all the Father’s Day posts from the followers! The best thing I ever did was be a father, my two youngest!” Additionally, she also shows her and Rob and Khloe Kardashian hugging. While Caitlyn appreciated her precious memories of fatherhood, she also gave tribute to her father. She captions: “On a special Father’s Day weekend journey! Wishing you all the best this Father’s Day! Mine is buried at Arlington and I miss him and think of him every day! #ProudFather.”
Caitlyn Jenner Is Accepting Different Versions Of Herself
Although Caitlyn Jenner was open about learning to accept herself at every stage, not everyone was supportive. Several comments in the post were negative about her recognizing and celebrating Father’s Day in any fashion. Likewise, some people notice that both Kylie and Kendall Jenner did not post any acknowledgment of their father. Undeniably, there are confusing aspects of Caitlyn’s life that she and others are still sorting through.
- In the comments, Kourtney Kardashian says on her stepdad’s post, simply, “❤️.”
- Another person asks, “Are u a dad today?”
- “Wait are you a dad or a mom. 😂😂😂😂😂 I’m confused….”
- “The only transgender person I know of that uses their old pronouns.”
- “I feel very sorry for your daughters who have basically lost their father that they knew and loved. It must also be equally sad for you as well. I don’t know what relationship you have with them now but I never see any pictures of you and them together nor do I hear them talk about you in their life.”
However, the Kardashian-Jenner clan is far from traditional in many aspects of their lives. While the life of Caitlyn Jenner may come with confusing situations about how to celebrate or acknowledge parts of her life, she is still very connected to the people she loves. But there has been changes in their relationships.
Kardashian-Jenner Involvement
During the premiere of The Kardashians Season 5, Khloe Kardashian mentions Caitlyn Jenner in the new miniseries House Of Kardashian. She says, “There’s this new documentary about our family and apparently whoever has been calling people that have either once been in our lives or are in our lives to do the documentary and no one really has agreed to do it, except for Caitlyn.”
In the series, Caitlyn says, “I haven’t spoken to them (Kim or Kris), no I pretty much do my own thing now.” Furthermore, she expresses, “Going through what I went through, it was a big decision for me.” She says, “At first, you take your appearance so much more seriously because for so long you had to hide all of this stuff.” Then, she adds, “That is the fun part, being able to dress up and do something. I enjoyed that because I wasn’t able to do that for so long.” Caitlyn also says, “Now I just wake up in the morning and just be myself, I don’t have to lie to anybody.” But accepting, she says, “Like me, or don’t like me? I really don’t care. I have got all my friends, I’m just doing fine.”
