AnnaLynne McCord First DOOL Airdate Revealed

AnnaLynne McCord’s breakout role came in 2007 when she joined popular FX series Nip/Tuck. However, she is probably most widely known for her stint as Naomi Clark on CW’s 90210 reboot. She played the anti-heroine from 2008 to 2013.

She’s worked steadily as an actress since then, with appearances on show including Dallas, Lucifer, and DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow. It was announced in December 2023 that she was taking on her first daytime soap opera role by joining Days Of Our Lives.

DOOL fans have been eagerly awaiting her debut. But since the show films so far in advance, she has yet to grace our TV screens. But the wait is almost over.

AnnaLynne McCord pops up in Salem on Wednesday, June 19. She previously spilled on her social media how excited she was to join the daytime family.

What else do we know about her upcoming role on DOOL?

Who Is She Playing?

When the casting coup was announced, the press release said that she would be playing the role of “Marin.” Fans assumed the show was creating a new character for her, since Marin didn’t exist on the show previously.

Not much is known about her character just yet, but yes, she will be playing Salem newbie, Marin. Some fans were concerned that she was a secret Nicole Walker recast after Arianne Zucker’s expected departure next month.

There have also been rumors that “Marin” is actually Abigail Deveraux, who died on the show in 2022. After all, characters are rarely actually dead on soaps, especially Days of Our Lives.

AnnaLynne McCord revealed to soaps.com recently that the show didn’t know who she would be playing at first either.

“So when I initially came on, no one really knew who I was gonna be. We were figuring it out as we went.”

The veteran actress didn’t offer any other details except to tease that Clyde Weston (James Reade) is somehow involved her character’s storyline.

Rumor has it on social media that her character is part of the recently introduced Greene family. The family includes a character with Down syndrome, played by Kennedy Garcia.

Do you think AnnaLynne McCord’s character will eventually be revealed as Abigail? Sound off in the comments.
