Kaitlyn Bristowe had a great time representing Bachelor Nation at CMA Fest last weekend. She hosted a panel that featured fellow Bachelorettes Charity Lawson and Jenn Tran. However, things took a drastic turn for Kaitlyn this week. Her ex-fiance Jason Tarticck confirmed in a social media post that he’s in a relationship with TikToker Kat Stickler. The two had been spotted together a lot in the last few weeks.
So, it’s not like Kaitlyn didn’t know her ex was dating again. But she took to her Instagram Story in an upset state of mind. She sobbed about what a bad day she was having. The video was quickly deleted but documented by several Reddit users.
“Y’all know how Kaitlyn was crying on Instagram stories because of “the dogs” and having a bad day? She obviously knew about Jason and Kat’s relationship, and if she’s denying that, then that’s BS. But she most likely didn’t know they were going to make a post today,” one fan wrote.
Says She’s Not ‘Hurt,’ Just Angry
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s fans rallied around her after Jason Tartick’s unexpected post. Apparently, she has a Facebook group dedicated to her Off The Vine podcast and often interacts with the group’s members.
According to Us Weekly, one member made a post to send good vibes to Kaitlyn amid her ex’s headline-grabbing announcement. “In light of recent news, I think today’s as good a day as ever to post something we love about our girl, KB,” the original post said. The fan praised Kaitllyn’s love for her dogs as well as her ability to be “unapologetically” herself.
The comment section reportedly got out of hand quickly. Some comments mentioned the rumors that Kaitlyn is dating Zac Clark, with questions of why she would care if her ex has moved on. Kaitlyn herself jumped in the fray with the comment, “Yall are making some wild assumptions in here.”
Another member of the group suggested others stop assuming Kaitlyn Bristowe was upset or sad about Jason’s new relationship. The former Bachelorette again replied to clarify her feels.
“It’s more of some held on anger and resentment that I’m working through!!! Not hurt.”
She didn’t share why she might feel anger or resentment toward her ex-fiance.
