‘American Idol’ Luke Bryan Reveals Sad Party For Katy Perry

Luke Bryan has revealed the kind of going away party they had for Katy Perry. Fans are sad to see Katy Perry leave American Idol. However, the other judges threw her a one-of-a-kind party. There has been a lot of speculation as to who is going to replace Katy. However, no decision has been made. Keep reading to find out more about the party.

Kelly Clarkson Will Not Replace Katy Perry

Fans wanted Kelly Clarkson to take over Katy Perry’s spot on the panel. However, that will not be happening. Kelly was asked if she would consider being a judge and she immediately made it clear that she has no interest. She wants to be present in her kid’s lives and promised them that she would not do another show that kept her away. She left The Voice because she was unhappy with life and how it was going. Kelly is currently focusing on herself and her family. Fans cannot blame her for that.

Luke Bryan Reveals Details About The Party

Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Lionel Ritchie, and others had a party for Katy. Fans expected them to be celebrating like crazy. However, that was not the case.

“Everybody thinks we’re gonna go out and stand on barstools and spray champagne over everybody, but we just had a chill dinner. We got to toast Katy and we got to say some really amazing things to her, and it was really emotional and [there was] a lot of love in the room. It was a perfect way to wrap the season and to wrap, certainly, Katy’s tenure with us, and it was really special.“

The party was more about honoring Katy and her time on the show. Fans love that they got to throw this intimate party for her and praise her time as a judge. Is this the kind of party you expected them to have for her? 

It seems the group did not go out and have a crazy party. It was more of an intimate thing. The other judges got to say a lot of nice things about Katy.
