Alliya Batista used to be Douglas Batista. However, she decided to make the transition into Alliya. She is not the first trans woman in the franchise. However, she is the first woman viewers are seeing navigate through the transition. Shawn Finch is in a relationship with her. However, when they started dating, Alliya was Douglas. So, when she decided to transition, Shawn had doubts about being with her. He wanted to be with a man and was in love with Douglas. There were a lot of decisions for Shawn to make. He ultimately decided that he wanted to be with Alliya and proposed.
90 Day Fiance Fans Question Relationship
Fans of the franchise are doubtful of their relationship and if it will last.
