Katy Perry Leaves American Idol
Katy Perry revealed that she was leaving American Idol. Fans were upset after hearing about her exit. However, it seems that Katy is leaving so she can focus more on her music. This is something fans were excited about. She wants to create new music and tour. Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Ritchie have been judges together for a while. So, the other judges were also bummed to see her go. However, there has been a lot of speculation about who will be replacing her.
Would Kelly Clarkson Replace Her?
It seems that Kelly is not open to being a judge on American Idol.
“No. No. I can’t do that, only because I promised my kids, I was like, ‘I wanna be there as much as I possibly can.’ And it would put me in L.A. That’s why I had to quit [the show], which I love that team. And I miss them so much.”
Kelly was a coach on The Voice for several seasons. However, she decided to leave the show to spend more time with her children. She also left The Voice due to her not being happy with her life. She needed to focus on her mental health and making life enjoyable again. Fans do not blame her for not wanting to be a judge and wanting to focus on herself and her children. What do you think?
