’90 Day Fiance’ What Is Michael Ilesanmi’s ‘Paradise Men’ Group?
90 Day Fiance star Michael Ilesanmi is raising some eyebrows following Sunday’s episode of Happily Ever After? Angela Deem has been suspecting that her husband is involved in some shady business. She also has doubts that being with her is not his main goal. The latest episode also featured Angela discovering a group called “Paradise Men,” in which Michael is a member, and many are shocked by its purpose. Keep reading to see what it was.
90 Day Fiance: Angela Deem’s Shocking Discovery
During the latest episode of HEA, Angela began digging into Michael’s phone to ease her doubts. However, the 90 Day Fiance star found shocking things in her husband’s phone, including “visa journey groups.” Michael defended himself and said that he used the group to learn more about the process. But she got upset when she discovered that Michael had been saving on a Nigerian “piggy bank” just in case things went south. Angela continued scrolling until she found a group called “Paradise Men,” which pushed her to her limits.
What Is The Paradise Men Group Of Michael?
During the same episode, Michael Ilesanmi explained the group, “Paradise Men.” According to the 90 Day Fiance star, it’s a group of men hoping to arrive in the “Land of the Free.” He explained, “The reason why it’s called the The Paradise Men Group is because, you know, you are going to the U.S. Land of free, you know? Like, the U.S. is a paradise. That’s all.”
However, Angela Deem continued digging into the group and found out that Michael had been talking to an elderly woman. She was also surprised to see her spouse being the administrator of the group, and she has talked to many Nigerian men about how to get into the U.S. with the help of older women, which appears to be his situation with Angela. This fuels the speculation that Michael has been scamming her all along.
90 Day Fiance: What Is The Nigerian Piggy Bank?
According to Michael, the usage of “piggy banks” in Nigeria is common. There’s even a website stating that it helps people “save and invest with ease.” Michael Ilesanemi also explained that a “collector” keeps the money and gives it back in case of emergencies.
At this point, Angela Deem continues to call out Michael for being a scammer. The 90 Day Fiance stars are currently separated behind cameras after a huge fight, which led to Michael running to authorities for help after allegedly getting tased in the face on the previous New York trip.
