Tyler Cameron Doesn’t Want His Dad On ‘Golden Bachelorette’
Tyler Cameron is one of the most popular Bachelor Nation alums, but he doesn’t want his dad to join The Golden Bachelorette as a suitor. Keep reading to find out his explanation.
Does Bachelorette Alum Still Watch Show?
Tyler Cameron made a rare appearance on a Bachelor Nation show in 2021 when he played a prank on bestie Matt James during Season 25 of The Bachelor. While Cameron remains a favorite among fans of the show, he confessed to Us Weekly that he hasn’t watched the show in years.
And he won’t be watching the upcoming season of The Golden Bachelorette either. He has nothing but kind things to say about the franchise, but his life has changed drastically since his time on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette.
He just starred in his own Amazon series about his new career in construction and home renovation. No word yet if Going Home with Tyler Cameron will return for a second season. But the reality star has big plans that will prevent him from watching Joan Vassos look for love on Golden Bachelorette.
He told Us Weekly that his ideal day typically begins with a workout and ends at a Tiki bar listening to live music. He plans to spend his days on his boat in Florida and go to bed by 9:30 p.m.
Tyler Cameron Doesn’t Want His Dad On Golden Bachelorette
ABC has yet to unveil the cast of suitors for the upcoming Golden Bachelorette spinoff, but fans shouldn’t expect Tyler Cameron’s dad, Jeff, to be one of them. Is he afraid his dad will get his heart broken like he did?
No, the Bachelorette alum is worred his dad would be the one breaking hearts. “He likes to juggle multiple women at once,” Tyler quipped to Us Weekly at the CMA Fest this weekend.
Jeff Cameron was previously married to Tyler’s mother, Andrea, but they divorced a long time ago. She passed away in 2020.
Dad Better Suited For This Dating Show
Tyler Cameron isn’t against his dad joining a Bachelor Nation show. In fact, he may not want to be the Bachelor himself, but Tyler thinks The Golden Bachelor would be perfect for Jeff Cameron due to his skill at dating multiple women at once. But fans already have an eye on Mark Anderson as the second Golden Bachelor. He’s the father of Kelsey Anderson, a contestant (and winner) from Season 28 of The Bachelor.
The former model has an idea for preventing a repeat of Gerry Turner’s season, which ended in a shocking divorce. Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist split up because they couldn’t agree on where to move. Tyler Cameron suggests having a season set in Florida with only local residents. He said that he knows many senior men who are looking for love.
