‘Teen Mom’ Fans Call Amber Portwood A ‘D*ck’ & ‘POS’ Parent
Teen Mom fans are calling Amber Portwood both a “d*ck” and a “POS” parent after the latest episode. She was supposed to show up for her daughter, Leah’s 15th birthday dinner but her behavior was not that of a caring mom. So, what exactly happened? Keep reading for more details.

Amber Portwood has struggled with being a mother since day one. She wanted to love her daughter, Leah, whom she had with Gary Shirley. Unfortunately, she had immense anger issues and that became a problem for the young couple who eventually split. He moved on and had another daughter but Amber struggled with her mental health and ended up in two toxic relationships. One resulted in a baby boy, James who now lives with his father in California. Amber wants to rebuild her relationship with Leah but she proved she is careless at Leah’s 15th birthday dinner.
The episode aired on Thursday, June 6th and they all were to meet at a restaurant. Not only was Amber late but she was rude to her daughter. So much so that she called her a “d*ck.”

Amber was giving Leah sass the moment that she got there and was bickering with her ex, Gary, as well. He was checking the time at one point and the made Amber made. She wanted to know why he was rushing when she was the one who was late. He pointed out that Leah had homework to do so they had to stick to a schedule. No matter what Leah said or did, she was met with an insult from her mother. Teen Mom fans immediately took to Reddit to share their thoughts:

Why, Gary?
Many Teen Mom fans could not believe that Gary Shirley still put up with Amber Portwood. More so, they feel he needs to keep Leah away from her because she is so selfish and does not care for her kids. She was more excited to share that she had a boyfriend than celebrating. Even co-star, Briana DeJesus weighed in on how she felt regarding Amber’s treatment of Leah:
They will probably address this at the reunion but Briana has since congratulated Amber on her engagement. So, maybe things will all blow over.
