’90 Day Fiance’ Is Angela Deem Lying About Her Age?
Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are back on the TLC franchise on 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? and fans think she aged a lot. Some of them go so far as to suspect that she told lies about her age. Read on to find out if that is what happened.
Angela Deem Had A Lot Of Body Work Done
Michael Ilesanmi wasn’t happy that his wife wanted to spend money on cosmetic surgeries, but she ignored her Nigerian husband and did it anyway. It was the gastric surgery that helped her lose weight. So far, she seems to have managed to keep it off.
Angela Deem also had dental work done and went for some fillers. However, while she looks thinner, a lot of people suspect that she looks much older. As she’s back on TV right now, her appearance is current, and gets 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? fans buzzing.
TLC Fans Question Her Age
On Reddit, a 90 Day Fiance fan questioned Angela’s alleged age. In their caption, they wrote:
There is NO possible way Angela is 57 years old.
We need to get to the bottom of this. TLC is clearly letting Angela lie about her age. It’s not possible she’s 57 years old. She looks like a 67 year old who had a hard life. Her body, saggy skin, face… and this is after all the body work. She’s way to haggard to be under 65.
In the comments, some 90 Day Fiance fans agreed with the assessment. Here are some of their thoughts:
- Years of drinking, smoking, “other substances”, fast weight loss etc caused that. Look at her before her work, she fit her age. All the surgery aged her and makes her look 70.
- I can’t feel sorry for this racist abusive b–h, but I do agree with the smoking assessment. That plus drugs/drinking/anger and stressors and diet is what makes her outsides match her insides today.
- I’m 70 and don’t look like that.
TLC Star Not A Liar?
An interesting screenshot and explanation arose in the comments that suggested Angela Deem is telling the truth. The commenter wrote:
She’s one of the few cast who didn’t lie about her age. An article put out her yearbook photo and someone a long ass time ago once posted pics of her from when they were at the same school years back. That’s her maiden name, and also she looked the same here as she did until surgeries in terms of facial features 😂
If the dates are correct, then the TLC star was born in 1966 and will turn 58 this year.

I think Angela is the age she said she is. I started watching 90 day fiancé and she made the show. She can be aggressive but you know that she is real. Michel you feel bad for him and he seems nice but is he really? How could he continue to take the abuse Angie dishes out . I will continue being a fan of the show . It’s not the same as the first couple of seasons which where better . I there is always hope they recapture it again .
