‘LPBW’ Season 26 Update, Will The Show Return?
The biggest question among Little People Big World fans right now is whether or not the TLC program will come back for Season 26. What do we know so far about where things are at?
Little People Big World: Zach Roloff And Tori Roloff Quitting Cast Doubt On Franchise’s Future
Everything seemed to be moving along until Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff threw a huge wrench into the Little People Big World machine. Shortly after the Season 25 premiere of the show, the husband and wife announced that they were quitting the franchise, and that this season would be their last.
This was something that a lot of people did not expect. The family tension with the botched Roloff Farms deal has been noticeable for the last few seasons, but, it’s safe to say that most Little People Big World fans did not expect Zach and Tori to quit like they did.
LPBW: Season 25 Felt Like A Finale In More Ways Than One
When you have 25 seasons of a show, season finales become commonplace. However, in light of Tori Roloff and Zach Roloff announcing that they were leaving the show, the Season 25 finale felt like a series finale.
In the final episode, TLC made sure to tie up loose ends. They even shot a scene with Matt Roloff, Amy Roloff, Chris Marek, and Caryn Chandler reminiscing and reflecting, all while a montage of past scenes played out on-screen.
Even Matt Roloff said that if Season 25 ends up being the end of the road, TLC did a nice job wrapping everything up, just in case.
Little People Big World: Will There Be A Season 26?
With everything that has gone down in the Little People Big World universe, the vast majority of fans want to know what the future of the franchise will be. Some viewers say the show has run its course. However, others would love for the show to continue, with many viewers investing their time into it since the first season.
As of this writing, there hasn’t been any confirmation from TLC one way or the other regarding a continuation or a cancelation. Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff have said that they are open to continue filming if that is what ends up happening. However, they both seem content with how things ended in Season 25 as well.
Of course, even if TLC doesn’t continue with full seasons now that all of Matt and Amy’s adult children have officially quit the show, the door is certainly open to film specials and more. Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler previously said that they wanted to get married in 2024. So, the idea of a Matt and Caryn wedding special would fit right in with what the network has done in the past.
No matter what happens with the franchise moving forward, there are certainly options on the table. The only question that still remains is which one the network will go with.
