The WCTH Sneak Peek Hints At More Conflict Between Nathan And Allie
As fans of the show know, Allie was born to Colleen and Dylan Parks. Colleen was Nathan’s sister. Sadly, she died when Allie was 4. Soon after, Dylan took off and then Nathan assumed guardianship of his niece, and eventually became her dad.
In the WCTH Sneak Peek video, more is explained about Allie’s desire to meet her birth father. The scene starts with Elizabeth and Nathan sitting down. They talk about going out for a ride on Sunday. Elizabeth suggests she pack a picnic. Nathan volunteers Allie to babysit Little Jack. Just at that moment, they see Allie walking with Angela Canfield. Nathan calls out, “Hey, Allie.” She turns the other way.
Now, Elizabeth wants to know what happened. Why would she reject her father in such a hostile way? She asks, “Is everything ok?”
Nathan replies, “Allie was asking about her birth father.”
Elizabeth then wondered, “What prompted that?”
Nathan proceeded to confess what had occurred. “I messed up. She overheard me saying some not-great things about Dylan.” After seeing Elizabeth’s scowl, he insisted, “The guy just took off. He only cares about himself.”
Elizabeth remembers this story differently. She quietly says, “I thought you told me that Dylan was maybe not ready to handle a child on his own after Colleen died? Is it possible he’s changed?”
Nathan didn’t seem optimistic, “Dylan? I doubt it.”
Elizabeth shared some sage words. “Give her some time to cool off. I’m sure she’ll come around.”
It looks like there will be some serious talk in the Grant household this WCTH episode!
