As longtime Little People Big World fans, and TLC fans across the board know, the network is known to exaggerate certain aspects of filming in order to promote a particular narrative. When it comes to Amy Roloff and Chris Marek, some viewers think their scenes, and particularly their confessionals, feel a little too doctored.
One Little People Big World viewer even compared their confessionals to a couples’ therapy session, in the sense that they are on their best behavior, and carrying on as if nothing is ever wrong. The way some viewers feel about it, this picture is unrealistic, and perhaps not as genuine as the network would have watchers believe.
LPBW: Some Viewers Still Believe Chris Has Shady Intentions
On the surface, and in Little People Big World scenes, Chris Marek seems like a genuine guy. He seems to take care of Amy Roloff in the way that she needs. Along with that, he even has an unexpected bromance with her ex-husband, Matt Roloff. Chris even went out of his way to buy a tricycle for Jackson Roloff.
Taking all of that into consideration, some Little People Big World fans still believe there is something “off” about Chris Marek and his intentions. Between everything shown on the TLC show, as well as everything shared on social media, Chris Marek and Amy Roloff seem like a happily married couple. However, some viewers still have their doubts.
Little People Big World: Fans Sound Off About Amy And Chris
Amy Roloff and Chris Marek have been together for years. They go on exotic trips, and Amy even spoils her man with her home-cooking and baking skills. However, some viewers don’t buy it, going as far as to accuse the couple of faking it for the cameras.
- One viewer said of their confessionals in Little People Big World scenes: “They seem determined to reiterate that all is well and they fit so perfectly together, but it vibes as the exact opposite.”
- Another LPBW fan said: “She also came with a lot of money and property. Chris gives me creeps.”
- A third viewer said: “I like Chris. I don’t think there anything wrong with him per se, but there relationship seems strained.”
If Little People Big World does end up being canceled, it’ll be interesting to see how Amy and Chris’s relationship does away from the cameras, when they for sure no longer have to perform or adhere to a particular narrative that TLC may or may not be trying to push.
