‘America’s Got Talent’ Season 19 Bringing In 2-Year-Old
Something special is coming to America’s Got Talent in the upcoming season. The show has the most talented people from around the world come in and try to win the competition. Additionally, they are vying for a possible spot with a show in Las Vegas. However, this season, one of the contestants won’t even be old enough for Vegas, as this is a two-year-old.
Here is a look at the new young contestant and what you can expect from America’s Got Talent this season.
Two-Year-Old Competing On America’s Got Talent
The youngest competitor in America’s Got Talent history is coming on the show this season. Mathematician Baby Dev is the contestant and that sets the new record for the youngest competitor ever on the reality competition series.
In the promo teaser, Howie Mandel said they are “breaking records this season,” talking about the age of Mathematician Baby Dev. Howie is 66 years older than the new competitor. Heidi Klum said, “I mean, we couldn’t even do what this little boy did.” Sofia Vergara responded with, “I can not even say, mathematician.”
Mathematician Baby Dev is a two-year-old who went viral last year for solving complex math problems after his parents noticed he was interested in numbers. He gained national attention when his parents posted videos of him solving problems on TikTok.

He was even on The Kelly Clarkson Show when the host saw videos online and called up his father, Duane, and invited them on. Duane shared this about Dev (via Afrotech):
“His first word was ‘seven,’ and we thought that was pretty cool. At [age] one, we brought a writing tablet, and we would practice writing numbers while holding his hands and saying it aloud, so soon after that, he was able to write numbers all on his own.”
What To Expect From America’s Got Talent Season 19
Mathematician Baby Dev will now bring his talents and skills to America’s Got Talent Season 19. However, he is just one of many new stories coming to the new season of the popular competition series.
The lineup is back to normal, with Sofia Vergara back on the series with Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell. Furthermore, this season’s promo also showed a lot of touching stories ahead. One of the first people shown was a man named “Mr Richard” who has been a school janitor for over 20 years. He appears to be a singer, with a voice that Sofia loves.
The preview also showed comedians, comedy acts, aerialists, dancers, and more. Additionally, there will also be outdoor performances this year. This year, the judges will also get two golden buzzers, meaning they have a lot more control over who moves on to the final rounds.
