‘7 Little Johnstons’ Did Liz Johnston Save The TLC Show?
7 Little Johnstons‘ fans think that Trent and Amber Johnston’s family storylines grow stale and boring. Season 14 of the show, it might be argued, brings new content with Elizabeth “Liz” Johnston and Brice Bolden’s pregnancy. However, even that was spoiled so TLC fans knew about it before the premiere.
Amber Johnston & Trent Bore Fans With TikTok
Ever since the family discovered TikTok, their mom and dad made TLC fans claim they made them cringe. And, that probably explains why they never trended to the heights they dreamed about. Still, that doesn’t stop them from making them part of the 7 Little Johnstons show each season.
TLC fans also claim that they grow tired of the scenes where Trent and Amber Johnston want to “spice things up” in the bedroom. Or, in front of their children. However, it’s the same format of the show that viewers complained about in Season 14. Many of them feel it’s too predictable.

Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Johnston Nearly Saved The TLC Show?
Initial interest in LIz Johnston’s baby was high, and people hoped the storyline would save the show. However, judging by critics on Reddit, the 7 Little Johnstons news didn’t translate into riveting stuff on television. Perhaps the jury should hold back before that conclusion as it’s believed Season 15 will cover more about baby Leighton Drew Bolden.
Amber Johnston‘s family seems too predictable, the OP on Reddit claimed. They wrote:
Controversial Opinion…This might be controversial…but IMO, Liz’s pregnancy might have saved this show from getting canned. I have no idea what the viewership numbers are for TLC and this show…but it feels like it has gotten so stale and predictable. With the exception of Anna and now Liz, all of their lives seem to be getting less interesting as time goes. Not sure how many more episodes of TikTok challenges we need to see.. and clearly this family doesn’t seem to have reservations with exploiting children.
TLC Fans Agree The Show Seems Boring

- I’ve had that thought too. A baby to help save her relationship and possibly the show. And no I’m def not saying she didn’t really want/love this baby. The baby is caught in the dynamics of this tho with no consideration.
