During their four-year relationship, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick shared parenting duties for their Golden Retrievers. The then-couple adopted Pinot in 2019, bringing the four-legged friend together with Kaitlyn’s previously-adopted pup Ramen. The two canines quickly became the best of friends.
Two years after their 2021 engagement, the Bachelor Nation stars broke up. However, they vowed to share custody of the dogs. So far, they have stayed true to that promise, shuttling the dogs back and forth between their respective homes.
But recent social media activity from Kaitlyn and Jason sparked concern among fans that they plan to separate the dogs. One worried fan took to Reddit to ask, “Anyone notice that Kaitlyn currently has Ramen and Jason has Pinot?” They added, “I wonder if they’re considering separating them…”
The question is especially relevant now that Jason Tartick has a new girlfriend. At least one Bachelor Nation fan wrote on the Reddit thread that it would be better for the dogs if they only had one parent. “For the sake of the dogs one person should give them up,” they wrote.
What Kaitlyn Has Said
Kaitlyn Bristowe can get a lot of hate on social media. But several Redditors took up in her defense. One wrote, “I really can’t envision Kaitlyn doing that,” about the possibility of separating Ramen and Pinot.
Another added, “Kaitlyn said on the Ben and Ashley podcast recently that they would never split the dogs up. The dogs are best friends..”
Dog lovers can rest assured that the two pups will reunite soon. One comment said, “She said the dogs will be back together this weekend. I’ve been thinking Jason may give them up and move out of Nashville.”

So, why are the dogs separated right now? One eagle-eyed follower wrote, “I believe Kaitlyn has Ramen registered to fly as a ESA, but pinot is not. I am guessing Jason kept Pinot since she could not bring him. They have both been very adamant that they will not split up the dogs.”
