Erin Krakow Reveals Elizabeth Will Experience Big Changes In WCTH Season 11
On Sunday, Good Housekeeping shared a new interview with WCTH star Erin Krakow. Firstly, she revealed that Season 10 was a “challenging emotional time” for Elizabeth.
However, in Season 11, she is “celebrating life a bit more.” With this comes “a real lightness and joy.”
Already, Hearties have seen Elizabeth chop off her hair into a fashionable bob. She also has updated her wardrobe to reflect the 1920s era they live in. But, she still wears her favored pastel colors.

Erin Krakow Reveals Elizabeth And Nathan Will Have Different Type Of Romance
One big change in WCTH Season 11 is that Elizabeth is ready for her big romance with Nathan (Kevin McGarry). But, there could be some delays. She explains that they are both “busy people.” Both are single parents, with jobs. But, she calls this sort of love more mature. She even calls it “very passionate.”
Sometimes it’s just nice to see a couple of grown people fall in love.
While Nathan had courted her and told her his feelings before she chose Lucas (Chris McNally), the Nathan and Elizabeth love story will be different. But this is also symbolic of Elizabeth’s changes. These changes also reflect how Hope Valley has also changed.
We’re breathing new life into Elizabeth and into the fabric of the town in various ways. And Nathan is there and there’s all this excitement and change happening in Hope Valley. And so not only for Elizabeth but for every one in town, it feels like a new beginning.
Therefore, fans who have seen Elizabeth transform may expect to see Hope Valley transform as well. Erin Krakow seems to hint that by the end of When Calls The Heart Season 11, this will not be the same series or the same town as it was at the beginning of this pivotal season.
