Gypsy Rose & Ryan Anderson Won’t Film Together For Doc
News of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Anderson’s divorce broke earlier this month. After being spotted with her ex-fiance and getting a complete makeover, it is clear the ex-con wants nothing to do with her estranged husband anymore. Now, it has been revealed that the pair won’t be filming together for the upcoming Lifetime docuseries either. Continue reading to find out the details that led to this decision.
Gypsy Rose Is Moving On From Ryan Anderson
Gypsy Rose and Ryan Anderson won’t be sharing any camera time after their split. Members of the production team on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up told TMZ that the couple did not film together at all after they went their separate ways. Overall, the Lifetime production team said they are going to focus more on Gypsy’s story moving forward.
The documentary production crew caught the fallout between the couple on camera, which has been leaked on social media. However, producers don’t think it makes any sense to shoot them together following the breakup. They no longer live together and it seems like their lives are going in opposite directions.
It was confirmed that the producers shot a one-on-one interview with Ryan to bring his part of the story to a close in the series. When it comes down to it, they are most interested in documenting Gypsy’s life after she was in prison. The only reason he ever got any camera time was due to his connection to her. Now that they are getting divorced, there is no reason to have him involved.
An inside source said that Gypsy Rose and Ryan Anderson never requested not to shoot with each other. It was 100% a decision that was made by the production team.
New Clip Shows Tense Moment Between The Estranged Couple
In a recent video shared on TikTok, leaked footage from the Lifetime docuseries showed Gypsy Rose in tears following an explosive argument with Ryan Anderson. The couple apparently started fighting after Gypsy threw away a bunch of food that she thought Ryan was hoarding in the fridge.
It is rumored that some of Ryan’s habits, in addition to the way he treated Gypsy, are the reason the couple split up. His hoarding of food reminded her of her abusive mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
The clip showed Gypsy trying to calm herself down before it cut to a confessional-style interview on the bed. Looking at the camera, the ex-con said that she felt like she was just in a “different kind of prison.”
Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up is still being filmed, but production plans to wrap it up soon. The docuseries is slated to premiere on Lifetime in June.
