90 Day Fiance Stars Mohamed Jbali & Danielle Stay In Touch
Fans were surprised to hear that Danielle Jbali stays in touch with her ex because they had quite a toxic relationship. She was much older than him, and she decided to get her 2014 marriage annulled. However, he pleaded for a divorce so he could stay in the USA. Relenting, the 90 Day Fiance star helped him with that. These days, he’s married to someone named Jillian. Is Danielle Jbali Required To Pay The Tax Owed By Her Ex?
The news that Danielle’s ex owes money came via InTouch Weekly on Friday. Their report revealed that “The TLC personality, 29, was hit with a lien by the State of Indiana for $391, which was filed on October 31, 2021, according to court records.” It might not sound like a lot of money, but apparently, if he doesn’t pay it, he could end up behind bars. Must Danielle rush to the rescue with her small nurse’s salary? Read on to find out.
The outlet consulted with “Nicole Green of Robert Hall and Associates” who is neutral in the case regarding Mohamed Jbali. Well, it sounds like if Danielle filed her papers correctly, the former TLC star shouldn’t have to open her purse to pay his tax lien. Nicole said:
I would assume that she has been filing her taxes separate from him as they have been divorced for 5 years. Really, the only time you are responsible for your partner’s taxes is when you are filing jointly. A way around that would be to use the filing status married filing separately.
What are your thoughts about Mohamed Jbali owing the State of Indiana tax money? Do you hope that Danielle has been filing her papers correctly so she’s not liable to pay the money on his behalf? Sound off in the comments below, and come back here for all your 90 Day Fiance news.
