Even before Debbie Aguero ever traveled overseas to meet her younger man, Oussama, in person, veteran 90 Day Fiance fans already knew that things were not going to end well between these two. Debbie and Oussama Ahamdane had the largest age gap in franchise history.
This is saying a lot, especially when you consider that one of the hallmarks of the 90 Day Fiance franchise is age-gap relationships. It wasn’t at all a shocker when these two didn’t work out for the long haul. However, that wasn’t the last that viewers saw of Debbie Aguero.
Debbie Meets New Man In The Single Life Scenes
Debbie Aguero is a unique character. With her hippie persona and eclectic style choices, it made sense for TLC to want to bring her back for more content. This is exactly what happened when TLC cast Debbie in The Single Life scenes.
This time around, she met a guy named Ruben Sanchez from Miami. Unlike Oussama, Ruben is a lot closer to Debbie in age, as he is in his late 50s. He also has an out-there sense of style, with all kinds of bright colors and flair. These two certainly hit it off, and 90 Day Fiance fans love to see it.
After everything Debbie Aguero went through in 90 Day Fiance scenes with Oussama, TLC viewers wanted Debbie to genuinely find someone more her speed, who she could build a genuine connection with. She seems to have found just that with “Ruben The Cuban.”
Ruben Sanchez Asks 90 Day Fiance Fans For Money, Why?
Ruben Sanchez recently set up a GoFundMe, asking 90 Day Fiance fans for a whopping $100k. Typically, when TLC celebs set up campaigns asking for money, it’s a red flag that viewers do their best to avoid. A perfect example of this was when Mary DeNuccio misled fans about having cancer, and spent funds that people donated.
This time around, Ruben Sanchez is asking for money for a great cause. His 73-year-old friend is in the middle of septic shock. On top of that, his living situation is unlivable. This man lives alone with no wife or kids, and Ruben reached out on his behalf to both save his life and his home.
According to Ruben Sanchez, he told his 90 Day Fiance fans that the initial goal is to raise $10k to buy his friend a camper to live in. The long-term goal is to raise $100k to help with both medical expenses and his living situation overall, including major repairs.
At the time of this writing, the campaign has raised $120 of its initial $10k goal. This campaign has a long way to go, but, Ruben helping out his friend in need is certainly a great cause.
