Jason Tartick Talks Fantasy Suite Advice He Gave Joey Graziadei
Former reality star Jason Tartick has financial advice for stars of The Bachelor. He reveals what advice he gave Joey Graziadei before Fantasy Suite dates. Keep reading for more details.
Former Bachelorette Star Talks Importance Of Money In Relationships
Jason Tartick worked in the banking industry before joining Season 14 of The Bachelorette. After getting eliminated, he met and fell in love with Bachelor Nation alum Kaitlyn Bristowe. The two broke up last year after four years of dating. According to Jason, money may have played a role in the split.
And he doesn’t want any other couple to make the same mistakes. He just released his second book, Talk Money to Me: The 8 Essential Financial Questions to Discuss With Your Partner. It talks about the importance of finances in a relationship, whether a couple has just started dating or is in a long-term relationship.
The reality star previously released the best-seller The Restart Roadmap: Rewire and Reset Your Career. Jason also hosts a podcast called Trading Secrets. He spoke to PEOPLE magazine for a lengthy interview ahead of the book release.
We know statistically that 50% of relationships end in divorce and the second leading cause of divorce are money arguments,” he explained about why financial discussions are important.
Jason cautioned against letting love blind you to financial issues, a mistake he admitted he made himself with Kaitlyn. “Even someone like me who does this every day, who was taught about financial transparency at the age of 16 through my grandfather, I still was lost in the love clouds,” he confessed.
Jason Tartick Reveals Fantasy Suite Advice He Gave Joey Graziadei
In an interview with Us Weekly about finances in a relationship, Jason said that finances should be discussed in the bedroom, specifically the Bachelor Fantasy Suite.
Becca Kufrin actually sent Jason Tartick home instead of bringing him to the Fantasy Suite. But the reality star thinks that it should be a topic for future Bachelor and Bachelorette leads. He mentioned the contestants on the Netflix show Love Is Blind including money talk when getting to know each other.
Jason Tartick considers Season 28 Bachelor Joey Graziadei a good friend. So, he shared some advice ahead of Joey’s Fantasy Suite dates with Daisy Kent, Rachel Nance, and eventual fiance Kelsey Anderson.
What advice did he give Joey? “When it comes to finances and career and all that, before the show, I said, ‘Make sure you’re having those conversations.,'” he told Us Weekly. Jason also advised Joey to get an accountant to help manage his finances.
