Mike Wolfe Gets Slammed By ‘American Pickers’ Fans
It appears no one is happy with Mike Wolfe, the star of American Pickers, the megahit seen on The History Channel. No matter what he seems to do, fans of American Pickers are quick to find fault with him. It also appears that Mike Wolfe is getting slammed even more as the ratings of his megahit reality television show are plummeting.
It All Started With Frank Fritz
All the trouble with Mike Wolfe and American Pickers seemed to start when Frank Fritz left the show. He left the show due to a back injury which required extensive back surgery. During his recovery, The History Channel fired Frank Fritz. Then, Fritz suffered a stroke which left him in worse health.
Contrary to previous reports, there was no feud between Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz. Despite the issues Frank Fritz had with alcohol, he and Mike Wolfe did not have a friendship-ending falling out. After a life-long friendship and years of working together on American Pickers, the two only needed a little time apart.
Mike Wolfe And His Current Co-Stars Made It Worse
Fans of American Pickers do not like the new co-stars of this reality television show. They have made it abundantly clear they want Robbie Wolfe, the brother of Mike Wolfe, to be fired.
So far, Danielle Colby, another co-star on American Pickers, has managed to stay out of the line of fire. Fans of the show are not slamming her the way they are Mike Wolfe. They are also not demanding she be fired from The History Channel’s television show.
The Ratings Keep Dropping
All of this is happening as the ratings of American Pickers are dropping. Its fans are no longer watching like they have watched in the past. Despite the best efforts of Mike Wolfe, it appears there is little that can be done to get the reality television show back on track.
If the ratings continue to drop like they have been, it is hard to imagine American Pickers will survive on The History Channel. This is especially true if the fans who have threatened to stop watching unless Frank Fritz is rehired follow through with the threat. Wolfe is so concerned with the ratings, he has resorted to begging people to watch American Pickers.
Current Complaints Against Mike Wolfe
American Pickers fans are not shy about voicing their complaints. The most current complaints seem to aimed at Mike Wolfe personally.
“He’s always overreacting,” one fan remarked on social media.
“Yea it’s like the old saying: It’s a dog eat dog world! All about ‘Fame and Money‘ not anything else!” another fan remarked, hinting that Mike Wolfe is greedy.
Referring to another comment made, a fan of American Pickers said “Like you said your friend was a picker 30-40 years ago but he wasn’t doing it to get ‘ATTENTION/FAME’ nor to become ‘RICH’ as people are doing today.”

The show has gone downhill ever since Frank got sick. As for all the belittling of Frank by Mike and Danny D before he left was getting to be extremely annoying and rude. The new cast is nothing but a bunch of self absorbed self righteous douche bags especially Jersey Mike what a full of shit no it all obnoxious human. Then the extremely rude pushy Rob who is so condescending and arrogant. Let’s not forget Mike Wolfe and his stupid laughing at everything for no reason and looks of disgust at sellers.

It appears the author and Mike have some common ground in the manure dept.
I used to watch the show all the time for several years. It wasn’t the same after Frank Fritz left. I didn’t care for Danny I think that’s the girl. I actually liked Mikes brother I thought he was okay but as far as Mike goes he left something to be desired. I can’t put my finger on it. I then found out that the girl did not make all the finds as where to go the producers did that. I also found out that Mike and Frank were never seen at the store. I lived outside of Nashville.
