Lifetime Announces Premiere Of ‘Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup’
Gypsy Rose Blanchard already starred in a six-part docuseries on Lifetime in January, and now the network announced the premiere of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup. The young woman who was jailed after the murder of her mom, Dee Dee still has more to talk about. Tragically, Dee Dee suffered from Munchausen by proxy, so everyone thought her daughter was very ill.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Becomes Very Popular
When she was sentenced to her prison sentence, it’s doubtful that Dee Dee’s daughter ever thought that she’d be popular. Her true crime story first appeared as a drama on Hulu in 2019, but since her release in December last year, she’s able to tell her own story. In Lifetime’s Prison Confessions, she talked about the first time when she met other prisoners. She felt shy and didn’t want to do it.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard has become increasingly popular with viewers of Lifetime who enjoy true crime. Not everybody thinks she’s some sort of monster because her story is heartbreaking. Addicted to pills, she didn’t want her mom dead but just wanted her gone, a subtle difference. Some people believe that as she’d suffered so many torturous medical procedures, she was driven to kill in self-defense. However, she accepted that she should pay the price and take responsibility.
Good morning to everyone, especially Gypsy Rose Blanchard who was released from prison today. I hope she finds love, happiness, and support that she deserves after enduring a lifetime of trauma. 🙏

Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup Premiere
On March 29, on Facebook, Lifetime announced the premiere date of the next edition. In the writeup, they explained more:
There’s always more to the story…Gypsy Rose Blanchard has openly shared her life with Lifetime and our cameras from the moment she was paroled. Her story, including her relationship with Ryan will continue to unfold on Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, debuting this June on Lifetime.
Ryan Scott Anderson, if you don’t know yet, is her husband, and they connected via mail while she was in prison. Married in 2022, she expressed the desire for a baby. So perhaps fans will see more of that in the forthcoming true crime story. Actually, some Lifetime fans believe she might have already fallen pregnant.
Unfortunately, this week, the news also arrived that Gypsy and Ryan split, so, fans might see that instead of baby news.
As yet, there doesn’t seem to be a trailer for Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup. However, that’s not a problem for fans who saw the announcement about the premiere. Here’s what some of them said in the comments.
- Yes!!!!
- I love her blonde hair!
- Jen Courtney girls & Wyatt night for this 🍿🍻
- She looks great.
- I wish this young lady only the best. I hope she can put her abused life behind her and focus on her new one. I’m so sorry she had to get off social media because of the insensitive jerks in the world. I’m looking forward to the show.
