‘MAFS’ Fans Furious At Michael Shiakallis For Rejecting Chloe

Married At First Sight: Michael Shiakallis Got A Second Chance
In a Married at First Sight first for the franchise, Michael Shiakallis was ditched at the altar by his original person that the experts chose. The MAFS experts are often under a lot of scrutiny for the sheer amount of couples they put together that ultimately split.
With Michael’s original bride bailing before even participating fully in the experiment, Lifetime had to act fast, bringing a new match into the fold. Chloe Brown arrived, giving Michael another shot at finding love. After what happened to him, many viewers hoped he would give this second chance a solid try.
MAFS: Michael And Chloe Brown Got Off To A Rough Start
Michael Shiakallis is eccentric and quirky. Particularly with some of his style choices, he reminded a lot of Married at First Sight viewers of Bennett Kirschner from Season 11 in New Orleans.
Chloe Brown was put off by his eccentricities, including that he had more skirts than she did. The fact that he also wanted to wear her earrings rubbed her the wrong way as well.
With everything they had working against them this Married at First Sight season in Denver, the pair still managed to make a connection, going as far as to explore each other in an intimate way. They may have started their journey in an unorthodox manner, but, viewers believed they could have a chance.
Married At First Sight: Michael Rejects Chloe On Decision Day, Fans Livid
When it came down to it, Michael Shiakallis said no to staying married on Decision Day. This is a huge loss for the Married at First Sight experts. This means that no couples from the Denver season decided to stay together in the end.
Not only did the experts fail to match Michael the first time, but it was still a big loss the second time, as Michael chose to walk away from Chloe Brown rather than stay married to her and continue to work on their relationship. What made it even worse was that Chloe was willing to stick around and try to make it work.

Married at First Sight fans have been calling Season 17 in Denver the worst season in franchise history. With Michael Shiakallis rejecting Chloe Brown, viewers are livid, and many of them didn’t hold back with what they had to say.
