Chewie’s Really Bad Day

Mark Consuelos explained Chewie’s day on Live With Kelly And Mark. “But she’s 17 years old, so she was just having a day,” the co-host explained. His wife did not agree. She quickly called it “a really bad day.”

“You know, I don’t know if you noticed yesterday. Our dog Chewie — who is very, very old now — was really disoriented,” Kelly Ripa explained. “She walked into a wall yesterday; she fell over. It’s just one of those things, you know, when your dog starts to get old.”

Viewers could tell Kelly Ripa was truly heartbroken over Chewie’s health. “She does tell you a lot with her eyes. She’s like, ‘Sigh. Can you believe this?’ I’m like, ‘I can’t!'”

Mark Consuelos Tried To Comfort Kelly Ripa

It wasn’t only the viewers that could tell Kelly was distraught. This did not go unnoticed by her husband. Mark Consuelos told his wife and everyone else about how Chewie was doing. He said the dog was acting more like herself later in the day and even “jumped up on the bed last night and was sleeping between us.”

  1. No, Kelly was not overreacting! She’s had Chewie for 17 years as part of her family & she loves him💔 I got a ShizTzu shortly after they did & I just had to put mine down 2 mos ago, & I’m still devastated. I loved her and miss her everyday. They are the best companions anyone could ask for..
