Joey Graziadei Reveals ‘Bachelor’ Role Is ‘Taxing’
As his season winds down, Joey Graziadei reveals how the Bachelor role is taking a toll on him and reveals why it is ‘taxing.’ Keep reading for all the details.
Joey Graziadei Reveals Bachelor Role Is ‘Taxing’
Joey Graziadei isn’t a newcomer to reality TV. He was a contestant on Charity Lawson’s season of The Bachelorette. He was the runner-up after Charity chose Dotun Olubeko. Joey was named the next Bachelor lead for Season 28.
The season ends next Monday with a three-hour finale that may or may not see Joey Graziadei find his future wife. Now that the show is winding down, the pro tennis instructor is reflecting on his time in the spotlight.
Joey Graziadei was a guest on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this week. Kelly Clarkson asked him if it’s easier as a lead or a contestant on the show, noting that he has experience in both. Joey said that it is “definitely harder” being the lead. Why? It’s so much more time-consuming.
He pointed out that as a contestant, you “get breaks” and “only go on one date a week.” But as lead, you have to go on all the dates, which he admitted was “taxing.”
However, he wasn’t complaining about being a reality TV star. He said that one good thing about being the lead vs. being a contestant is the ability to “build your own story.”
His Sisters React To Watching Him Makeout With Multiple Women
Joey also revealed that the first person he told when he officially got the role was his older sister, Carly. Both Carly and his younger sister, Ellie, were in the Kelly Clarkson Show audience.
Joey said that his sisters were so excited for him to be on the show. One sister joked that she was less excited after watching him kiss multiple women on national TV.
“It’s really not that fun, but we’re excited for him,” she said. Joey actually lives with his older sister for now. He moved in with her after leaving Hawaii when he was cast on The Bachelorette.
Kelly Clarkson teased him a bit for dating so many women at once. She quipped that she doesn’t even want to date one person at the moment.
