Lori Loughlin Parodies Herself In Curb Your Enthusiasm Episode Mimicking College Admissions Scandal
On Sunday, Lori Loughlin parodied herself in Larry David’s MAX comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm. The When Calls The Heart alum played a fictional version of herself. In this episode, Ted Danson, also playing a fictionalized version of himself, asks David if he could help him out with a problem. He needed David to sponsor her to join a fancy country club because of “that whole college admissions scandal thing.” In turn, David is happy to “champion the underdog,” saying that this is not fair.
And defend her he did. Going all Abe Lincoln, David played orator in the meeting. This is a speech inspired by the Gettysburg Address. Determined, he decreed, “I highly resolve that she has not served her time in vain.” To complete the application process, the two went golfing.
However, David’s support is halted when he observes her lying and offering a bribe to change their tee time. She even gets flirty with the attendant. Then, when golfing, she cheated. To top it all off, she lies that she has Epstein-Barr, therefore needing to use the golf cart through the course, and topping it off, parking in designated handicap spots.

The Full House Star Was ‘Totally Game’ To Do Episode
According to The Hollywood Reporter, who spoke to the show’s executive producer Jeff Schaffer, Lori Loughlin was “totally game” to play a parody of herself. He added, “She was so great.”
Everything we threw at her, she was game to do. She makes the episode. I’m so glad she wanted to do it.
Also, Shaffer pointed out that this episode would only work if she was willing to do it. In addition, they shared ideas before they put them on the script. Therefore, with her approval, they put together something very funny that showed she had a good sense of humor and could laugh at herself. Most of all, she used her comedic chops to pull out a classic performance that everyone was talking about.
Lori Loughlin Was Named In College Admissions Scandal Five Years Ago
