‘My 600-lb Life’ TLC Shares Sneak Peek For Dr. Now’s First Patient
My 600-lb Life star Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, also known as Dr. Now, is set to return in Season 12. TLC has already shared the synopsis of the first two episodes, and it seems that the bariatric surgeon is about to face patients in critical conditions early on. My 600-lb Life: Dr. Now Announces Meet & Greet
In an Instagram post, Dr. Now reminded his fans about his upcoming meet-and-greet ahead of Season 12. According to the My 600-lb Life star, he will be celebrating some of his milestones, including the 12th season of his reality show, on March 9 at his office. The 79-year-old also revealed that he will do a book signing, take photos, and give souvenirs to his fans to thank them for all the support. The reality TV personality is also hopeful to reach 1 million followers on Instagram soon.
TLC Releases Sneak Peek For Dr. Now’s First Patient
TLC recently took to IG to share a sneak peek for the upcoming episode of My 600-lb Life Season 12. The clip shows Dr. Now’s first patient, named Krystal. She was already in a difficult condition before meeting the surgeon. According to her, she’s been having difficulties walking and breathing. She also revealed that it only takes her three to four steps before stopping and taking a break.

Krystal also does grocery shopping twice a month. She has her family and kids helping her with her daily needs. However, she revealed in her interview that she “absolutely hates” her condition and feels embarrassed when she’s out in public. Due to this, she found the courage to turn her life around and finally seek Dr. Now’s help.
My 600-lb Life: Who’s Dr. Now’s Second Patient?
According to TLC, the second episode of My 600-lb Life Season 12 will feature the story of William, a former athlete who suffered a career-ending injury. He ballooned over 600 pounds after a knee injury and has faced multiple health issues. Due to this, he has to make changes for himself before things get worse.
The first episode of Season 12 will premiere on March 6, 2024, while the second episode airs on March 13. The show’s spinoff, My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now? will air on April 24, 2024.
