During last year’s Christmas, Whitney took to social media to share a heartwarming clip of herself surprising Bradley with a golden retriever puppy. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, her son has been dreaming about having such a dog, he truly deserves it.

“He’s been the sweetest lil guy and has fit right in since the second he got here. Watching the kids love on him has been the most precious thing ever! With 5 kids, 2 bunnies and now Scout, 2024 is definitely going to be an adventure and we’re totally here for it,” she added. Bradley has also left many in awe with his love for his siblings. Earlier this year, Whitney shared a clip of her son playing with his youngest sister, Lily.

In an Instagram post, Kelly Jo gushed over her grandson, Bradley, for his latest achievement in his basketball league. According to the Bringing Up Bates star, Bradley’s team was undefeated throughout the season, and their last game became memorable. She revealed that her grandson was the shortest on the team, and it was his first year of playing basketball. However, his teammates cooperated to pass him the ball for every single possession. They also encircled Whitney and Zach’s son so he could score easily amid his tall opponents.

“As soon as Bradley was enclosed in that protective circle of his teammates, he aimed, & IT WENT IN! His 1st basket! The entire gym erupted with cheers, & we jumped up to our feet hollering for several minutes! You’ve never seen a happier face, than Bradley’s glowing cheeks!” Kelly Jo Bates added. She also mentioned that she had never seen an entire quarter where the ball was only shot by one member. Kelly Jo also thanked Bradley’s teammates for their acts of kindness. “This will be one game for the records! Thank you to Johnny who led the teammates to all help Bradley have his own little victory! We were impressed by y’all’s skills all season, but even more by your love!” she added.

Kelly Jo has also been a busy grandmother over the past few weeks. Aside from watching Bradley’s basketball game, the Bringing Up Bates star also visited her newborn grandson, Miles, along with her other children.
