‘Bachelor’ Joey Graziadei Reveals Details About His Yellow Eyes
Bachelor Joey Graziadei went to social media to finally share with fans more details about his yellow eyes. Fans had noticed in some of the episodes that the whites of Joey’s eyes appeared yellow. This could mean a lot of different health issues. Joey had said he was going to address it soon and he finally has. What did he have to say? Keep reading to find out more.
Joey Graziadei Finally Shares Details About His Yellow Eyes
Bachelor Joey Graziadei went to Instagram to share the reason behind his yellow eyes. He made a video that he shared with fans with a great explanation of what is wrong with him. Overall, Joey is healthy.
He revealed it all started when he was in high school. Joey said, “I was sick for about a week and a half and my mom thought it would be a good idea for me to go to the doctor. When I went to the doctor, I had bloodwork done and the bloodwork showed that my bilirubin count was very high.”
He went to share his diagnosis. Joey said, “That means that there could be something that was wrong with my liver. We went and I got a liver ultrasound, I went to other doctors and they found out that there was nothing necessarily wrong, like hepatitis, but they diagnosed me with something called Gilbert syndrome. At the end of the day, I am told that I am healthy, it’s something that does affect the whites of my eyes. It makes it have those jaundice levels which is why they look a little bit more yellow.”
According to WebMD, normal bilirubin for adults over 18 years, normal total bilirubin can be up to 1.2 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl) of blood. For those under 18, the normal level will be will be 1 mg/dl.

He Is Healthy
The Bachelor went on to say that overall he is healthy and they are not concerned with it. He has to drink more fluids and he did say in 2024 he is going to get it checked out more.
Joey Graziadei thanked everyone for their concern but said he was okay.
As for what Joey has, Gilbert Syndrome is a common, harmless liver condition in which the liver doesn’t properly process bilirubin. Bilirubin is produced by the breakdown of red blood cells. There is no treatment for this syndrome.
