‘Bachelor’ Sausage Challenge Disgusted Viewers

On this week’s episode of The Bachelor, there was a group date based on knights. During the group date, there was a sausage challenge that disgusted many viewers. They also felt as though it was “degrading”. However, the girls pulled through and did the challenge to the best of their ability while trying to win Joey’s time and attention.

Joey Graziadei Has His Hands Full

Joey Graziadei has his hands full with this group of women. There continues to be more drama even after the main causes of it left. When there was drama between Sydney Gordon and Maria Georgas, Joey ultimately sent Sydney home. However, Lea was not happy afterwards and Jess even started to have drama with Maria. However, this seems to have rubbed fans the wrong way. Viewers have been defending Maria on social media and do not think she is a bully. They even want her to be the next Bachelorette. So, it seems that some girls could just be causing drama for no reason. However, Joey has a lot of deep connections and is excited for the future.

Sausage Challenge Goes Wrong

On the group date this week, the girls did knight practicing. However, one of the challenges was the stand in a circle while sausages were flying around. They had to try to catch a sausage in their mouths and fans were not amused. Joey did offer to do it with them. While the women constantly said how they were gagging and disgusted, fans felt as though it was “degrading”. Some fans commented on it.

  • “Am I the only one that found that sausage challenge incredibly degrading? Bachelor producers are hitting a new low,”
  • “this “catch the sausage in your mouth” bit on the Bachelor is some of the most degrading shit I’ve ever seen.”
  • “What percentage of producers are flat out sociopaths?”
  • “The level of manipulation on the show to create drama with these women is out of control. The sausage thing was over the line.”

Even some of the girls felt odd as Lea mentioned her mom watches the show.

While viewers and contestants did not like this challenge, they did it anyway. However, Joey did participate with them which made it a little better. The producers are not impressing fans this season with their date choices. Especially when they took Daisy Kent to a music festival when she was hard of hearing. This was her first date with Joey.
