The Latest On Possible ‘Golden Bachelor In Paradise’ Spinoff
Bachelor In Paradise premiered ten years ago this summer. Could the next edition feature seniors? What’s the status of a possible Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff? Keep reading for the latest news.
Bachelor In Paradise Turns 10
Bachelor In Paradise premiered on ABC on August 4, 2014. The show features rejected Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants hoping for another chance at love.
But before BIP, there was Bachelor Pad. The network canceled the spinoff in 2013 and debuted the updated version a year later.
Bachelor In Paradise has launched more successful couples than the flagship show. Season 7 led to marriages between Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt, Kenny Braasch and Mari Pepin, and Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs.
Season 7 contestants Abigail Heringer and Noah Erb broke up at the end of the season but reunited and are currently engaged.
Other successful BIP couples include Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes, who just got married a few months ago. Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon, who met on Season 2, are expecting their second child this year.
Will It Return This Fall?
ABC has yet to renew Bachelor In Paradise for Season 10. In fact, it may not air at all this year. At a recent press tour, the network announced a Golden Bachelorette spinoff to air this fall. Furthermore, a new season of The Bachelorette will air this summer.
Many fans are concerned that BIP is canceled. However, it’s important to note that the first season of The Golden Bachelor and Season 9 of Bachelor In Paradise fit on the network’s fall 2023 schedule.

The Latest On Possible Golden Bachelor In Paradise Spinoff
Bachelor producers Claire Freeland, Bennett Graebner, and Jason Ehrlich spoke with Variety recently about future plans for the popular franchise. One thing they hope to bring to viewers is the first-ever gay Bachelor.
Ehrlich told the outlet that it would be “fun” to do a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff, too. “We’d love to do that and hope we get the opportunity,” the producer said.
Bennett Graebner, who has been with the show for two decades, teased there have been “conversations” with the network about both spinoff ideas.
ABC already has multiple women from Gerry Turner’s season as a possible Golden Bachelorette lead. They could easily choose contestants for a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff.
BIP bartender Wells Adams threw his full support behind the idea months ago.
Do you agree with the producers that a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff would be “fun”? Which Golden Bachelor contestants would you want to see? Sound off in the comments.
