The Moment Brayden Bowers Knew He Loved Christina Mandrell

Brayden Bowers reveals moment he knew Christina Mandrell was the one
Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell appeared on The Dave Neal Show where he shared the moment he knew he loved her. He had gone on a fishing trip with friends in San Diego. However, things went terribly wrong.
What happened? On September 18, 2023, There were five of them on the boat when one of their fishing lines got caught in the engine’s propellers. When his best friend and also Bachelor alum Aaron Schwartzman stood up in the boat to attempt to lift the engine and untangle the line the boat sank. The guys were stranded 20 miles off the coast of San Diego for three hours.
After waiting for those three hours another fishing boat rescued them. Once back on shore, Brayden got his dad’s phone since his was at the bottom of the ocean and he called Christina.
While he was floating at sea, this is when he knew he loved her. He realized he had never even told her he was in love. Brayden hoped he would get the opportunity to do that.
He asked her to be his girlfriend at that moment. Brayden went on to say, “I was just like, ‘Hey, this put a lot of things in perspective for me. Life is short. I mean, you could die tomorrow in a boating incident and, you know, you can’t do anything about it so why waste time anymore?'”
What else did he tell Dave?
Brayden also told Dave more about how he felt. He said, “One of the biggest things I feel like we do is we follow these social norms of, ‘OK, we should be boyfriend and girlfriend for this long, or we should talk for this long. Or we need to do this for this long before we really take that next step to make sure we don’t have any doubts.’ And I think it was just in that moment I was like, ‘I love this girl. I’ve never told her I love her, and I am about to die right now and I never said it.’ That was probably the biggest wakeup call for me.”
He also said if you really love something then put yourself out there and go for it.
Brayden has done just that. On January 4, he popped the question to Christina at The Golden Wedding.
