Former Bachelor Peter Weber Shows His Strategic Side On ‘The Traitors’
The former contestant on The Bachelor, Peter Weber, has found himself on another reality television show. He isn’t wooing women or passing out roses this time. Instead of using his heart this time around, Weber is being forced to use brain on Peacock’s hit reality show The Traitors. He is proving he has a strategic side, a strategic side he will need if he wants to get to the end of The Traitors.
What Is The Traitors?
The Traitors is a reality show on Peacock where contestants try to outwit the others for the prize money which is given away at the end. This show can be compared to the board game Clue, except the only weapons used are the minds of the players.
It consists of the “faithful,” who are, generally speaking, the good guys wanting to expose the “traitors” so they can win the money. The faithful use their social skills and powers of observation to try to find out who the traitors are and “banish” them through a “round table vote” at the end of most episodes.
The traitors are the ones who “murder” the faithful in order to get to the end and win the money. The traitors meet in secret and decide who they will kill, being careful not to kill anyone who will alert the faithful to their identities as traitors. Just like the faithful, the traitors must use their social skills and powers of observation to root out anyone who might suspect them.
Along the way, the faithful and the traitors must work together to earn the prize money. The money they earn together will be split by whoever is left at the end. However, there is a twist. If a traitor makes it to the end, the traitor gets all the prize money, not having to share it with anyone else who may be left.
The Traitors is currently in its second season on the streaming service Peacock. The first season was won by a Survivor megastar and fan favorite, Cirie Fields. Fields played a traitor and, when she won, didn’t have to split the money with anyone else.
Who Is On The Traitors?
The contestants on The Traitors are all former reality television stars with the one exception of an English politician. This season is made up of some of the women from The Housewives franchise as well as other stars of The Bachelor, Survivor and The Challenge as well as others.
The cast of The Traitors consists of John Bercow, Carston “Bergie” Bergerson, Trishelle Cannatella and Kate Chastain. Also playing is Sandra Diaz-Twine, Dan Gheesling, Mercedes Javid, Deontay Wilder, Kevin Kreider and Phaedra Parks. You will also find Parvati Shallow, Chris “C.T.” Tamburello, Peter Weber, Sheree Whitfield and Maksim Chmerkivskiy lurking around the Scottish castle. Ekinsue Culculoglu, Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio and Marcus Jordan are also participating. Tamra Judge, Peppermint, Larsa Pippen and Janelle Pierzina round out the cast of The Traitors.
Peter Weber’s Strategic Move
Peter Weber is proving he is not just another pretty face. In a bold move, as a faithful, he went up against the traitors. He and a few members of his “posse” lied about who was safe from being murdered. They only lied to a few people, people they suspected as being traitors.
The traitors fell for this lie. Instead of going after their target, they picked someone else to be murdered. This played right into Peter Weber’s hands. He led his posse in banishing one of the traitors, the first traitor of the season to be eliminated.

The Traitors React To Peter Weber’s Move
The traitors, Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks, realized Peter Weber was also on to them. They had to make a move against him, but they couldn’t murder him. Instead, when given the opportunity to “recruit” another traitor, they chose Weber.
Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks knew their game was on the line. They believed recruiting Weber to be a traitor would help ensure their life in the game. Their backs were against the wall and they made the only move they thought they had.
Peter Weber’s Boldest Move Yet
Peter Weber did not fall for it. He refused their invitation to become a traitor. He decided to remain a faithful.

This was possibly the best move he could have made. Peter Weber is almost certain he knows who the traitors are. If he shared this information with others, he would be safe from being murdered. Parvati Shallow and Phaedra Parks can’t murder him because Weber’s posse would know and Shallow and Parks would be banished. It is possible, for the first time in her reality show career, Parvati Shallow does not have the upper hand against a man.
Survivor Icons Are Making Reality Television Comebacks
Parvati Shallow, Sandra Diaz-Twine and Cirie Fields, the first winner of The Traitors, aren’t the only Survivor icons to return to reality television. Rob Mariano, “Boston Rob,” is also making a comeback. He is currently participating in the reality show Deal Or No Deal Island.
Unlike The Traitors, which is more suited for less-physical survivors like Sandra Diaz-Twine and Cirie Fields, Deal Or No Deal Island is a much more physical game. Boston Rob’s reality show reboot can be seen on NBC later this month.
