Gerry Turner, Theresa Nist Reveal First Valentine’s Day Plans
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are having many firsts together after getting married on January 4. One of those firsts is Valentine’s Day. The newlyweds opened up recently about what their plans are for this special day. Keep reading to find out more.
Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist reveal Valentine’s Day plans
Bachelor Nation caught up with Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist to talk about how married life is going including their plans for Valentine’s Day. As it turns out, their only big plan for this special day of love is to cook dinner. They already have their meal planned and also shared the recipe for fans to indulge as well.
They will be making Aloha Chicken. It sounds delicious with chicken, onion, pineapple, garlic and other ingredients. The meal is eaten with white rice.
What do they love about each other?
While chatting with Bachelor Nation and sharing this delicious recipe, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist also dished on the things they love most about each other. As for Gerry, he loves how Theresa is so “kind and sensitive she is with everyone she meets.”
Theresa said, “I love that Gerry will always stand up for his beliefs and he is so genuine.”
The newlyweds also shared what they love doing for each other. Gerry says he loves buying Theresa jewelry for no reason at all. Theresa said she loves to cook Gerry late-night meals. He even shared his favorite one which is salmon, roasted sweet potatoes and roasted cauliflower.
These two are adorable and fans loved seeing them get married on live television on The Golden Wedding. Now that they are married, they are planning out their honeymoon. Recall, the show gave them a free trip to Italy which is what they are using for their honeymoon.

Fans have been eager to know when their trip will be and they finally shared it is happening in May. Theresa shared a photo and said, “Having so much fun planning and dreaming about our honeymoon in May to Italy…flying into Rome, spending a few days in Tuscany and then heading down to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. I’ve been to Italy twice, once when I was 18, and again to visit my daughter when she studied abroad there. I can’t wait to experience it with Gerry!”
In the meantime, they have been enjoying getting to know each other even better. They have spent a lot of time in New Jersey. Most recently they went shopping together and perhaps spent a little too much time in the dressing room.
So far things are going great for Gerry and Theresa. Fans can’t wait to hear and see more of their journey on social media.
