How Does The Game Of ‘Deal Or No Deal Island’ Work?
Deal Or No Deal is making its return to NBC with a new name and new premise. It is not the same as before. There is no skimpily clad, future-member of the royal family holding a briefcase. This is Deal Or No Deal Island, where the contestants have to win physical challenges in order to get a piece of the prize money.
The Prize Money
In the original Deal Or No Deal, one contestant had the chance to win $1 million. With Deal Or No Deal Island, contestants have the opportunity to win much, much more than that amount. Multiple contestants can win, splitting whatever amount they won.
How To Win The Money
With the original Deal Or No Deal, the contestants weren’t competing against each other. One contestant played the odds against the “banker,” trying to get the largest amount of money possible. Deal Or No Deal Island will be pitting the contestants against each other and the banker.
These contestants will have to compete, against each other, in physical challenges in order to get the money-filled briefcases. These physical challenges take place, outside, on the banker’s private island. Based on the preview, being aired on Paramount+, the challenges appear to be quite grueling.
Howie Mandel Is Still Involved
Howie Mandel will not be getting any air time on Deal Or No Deal Island. Although still involved, Mandel is one of the producers of this reality TV show. Replacing him as the host of Deal Or No Deal Island is Joe Manganiello.
Joe Manganiello is the former husband of Sofia Vergara, a judge on another reality TV show, America’s Got Talent. He is a well-known American actor who has appeared on numerous television shows. He has also done voice work for American Dad.
Boston Rob Returns To Reality TV
Rob Mariano is one of the contestants on Deal Or No Deal Island. Known as “Boston Rob,” due to his Survivor fame, will certainly make this new reality show interesting. He is known as one of the best and most cutthroat of anyone who has ever appeared on Survivor.

Fans of Boston Rob are expecting him to be as ruthless on Deal Or No Deal Island as he was on his several seasons of Survivor. This previous Survivor winner has proven himself to be more than a competitor. He is known for doing whatever it takes to win for his family.
