‘Bachelor’ Alum Clayton Echard Debuts Bold New Look
Bachelor star Clayton Echard, known for his heartthrob status on the hit reality show, has taken the internet by storm with a daring new look. Stay on this page for a glimpse at the stunning change.
Bachelor Alum Dances Like No One Is Watching
Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor ended in controversy when front-runner Susie Evans left the show before the final rose ceremony. Clayton sent Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia home and convinced Susie to return. She agreed but turned down the final rose.
However, the couple briefly had a happy ending when they rekindled their romance after filming. They were together for about six months before breaking up. She’s currently dating Bachelor Nation alum Justin Glaze.
During his time on The Bachelor, Clayton Echard was trolled relentlessly about his dance moves. The reality star took the criticism to heart and began taking dance lessons to improve.
He regularly posts dance videos on social media to show off his improvement. A TikTok he posted in November compared his dancing from 2022 to now. “The first video you see. I actually sent this video to Susie so she could see what I was working on while we were apart,” he explained in the caption.
Check out his progress:
@clayton.echard January 17th, 2022 – The date of the filming of the first video you see. I actually sent this video to Susie so she could see what I was working on while we were apart š. At that time, I was living with my brother at his apartment in Scottsdale and was trying to find ways to pass time while my season of The Bachelor just started airing. So, I started dancing, as it was always a dream of mine to learn to dance. But not at an in-person studio…I didnāt possess the self-confidence for that. Instead, I danced in the comfort of my brotherās apartment. I didnāt want anyone (not even family) seeing me attempting to dance because I was extremely self-conscious. So, I bought an online hip-hop dance class and begin secretly practicing. I didnāt make it far. After a couple of weeks, I grew frustrated with my lack of progress and gave up. With no one to coach me up, I let my frustrations stop me from trying. And I quit. Deep down, I didnāt want to quitā¦I just felt like I had no other option. If I would have just cared less about what people thought about me, I would have taken myself to a local studio and had an instructor help me out. But at the time, all I ever worried about was how I looked in the public eye. Well, over a year later from that first video, I finally joined an in-person studio and began taking private lessons. So, what changed? I stopped caring about otherās opinions. I realized I couldnāt please everyone, so why continually try to? The āpeople pleaserā in me was tired of living a life that felt constrained and inauthentic. While we canāt control every action around us, we can often control our reactions to them. That decision is a choice and itās the choice I began to make. YOU can make that choice too. Choose to step outside your comfort zoneā¦little by little. Youāll realize itās not as bad as what your mind told you it was going to be. The more times you begin to step into a place of discomfort, the more confident you will become in doing so. And then eventually, one day, it wonāt be a stepā¦itāll be a leap. You have it in you to do so. We all do. Change only occurs when you change, so take that first step and watch where it takes you. #danceprogress
Clayton Echard Debuts Bold New Look
The second half of 2023 was a tough year for Clayton Echard. News broke in September that he was being sued in a paternity suit. A woman claimed that the Bachelor Nation star was the father of the twins she was pregnant with.
Clayton denied paternity from the get-go and has been battling the woman in court. The court case took a surprising turn in December when a source revealed the woman in question was no longer pregnant with the twins. She asked for the paternity lawsuit to be dismissed.
Clayton Echard took to his Instagram Story this weekend to give fans a closer glimpse at his bold new style. “Some might call it a life crisis. I call it confidence,” he said in a video clip before turning his head to reveal that he’s let his curly hair grow longer in the back but clipped the sides.
“That’s a mullet, and that’s dangerous,” he joked. Mullets have been an increasingly popular hairstyle for men in recent years. Country singer Morgan Wallen recently cut off his famous mullet, but the trend has remained strong.
