Kelly Ripa is excited about upcoming projects — what about her podcast?
Today, many Live viewers couldn’t imagine the show without Kelly Ripa. She joined the popular daytime talk show back in 2001. Over the years, she’s had many cohosts and interviewed several interesting guests.
But after 23 years, it seems like her time on the show could be drawing to a close. Lately, Kelly has teased that she’s increasingly interested in retirement. In an interview with Purist last summer, she confirmed retirement was weighing heavily on her mind.
“I think the risk-averse quality I have is probably the reason I stayed with the same job for so long,” the Hope & Faith actress shared. “Other offers come along, but I like to stick with what I know. I am very steadfast in everything I do, and so when you have me, you have me for life. Having said that, I don’t intend to work at this job for the rest of my life. I do talk about retirement with great interest, but right now I’m very happy, especially working with Mark.

Kelly Ripa is 53, but she’s still excited for the future and has many projects on the horizon. In the spring of 2022, she launched her very own podcast. And there’s great news for Kelly’s fans — the podcast will live on.
In a recent episode of Live, Kelly spoke with actor Sam Rockwell. But she also recently interviewed Rockwell’s partner Leslie Bibb on her podcast, so of course that came up as well.
“Now, I spoke to his beloved Leslie Bibb yesterday on my podcast. Season 2 is coming shortly,” Kelly announced to her audience members.
In fact, new episodes of Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly are available to listen to now. The latest episode featuring Holly Robinson Peete went up on January 31, 2024.
If the long-time hostess leaves, who will replace her?
Kelly Ripa is a daytime talk show icon. But if she leaves, who would make a good replacement? As TV Shows Ace previously noted, TLC’s Bill Klein might like a turn at the job.
But for now, it seems that Kelly is content to keep hosting her talk show as well as her podcast.
