Often My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans wonder how much of the reality TV show is real. But recently, fans came across some information that made them question the whole show’s authenticity. Now fans suspect that the shoe salesman Whitney Way Thore dated was a paid arrangement.
Fans Discover Information About Whitney Way Thore’s Date
On a Reddit feed, one fan of My Big Fat Fabulous Life discovers some dirt that gets fans chatting about Whitney Way Thore. Although fans have had their suspicions, this fan posts, “Ya don’t say?!?!” Then adds a screenshot of statements about the shoe store where one of Whitney’s dates worked.

It claims, “The TLC show My Big Fat Fabulous Life filmed at the shoe store where my husband worked. He refused to sign a waiver (didn’t want to be on TV), and while he was working with his client, a producer told him he needed to be quiet while they filmed. He told them they were at his place of employment, so they needed to quiet down while he was trying to work. They [allegedly] paid his coworker to ask [Whitney Thorne] out on a date, paid for the date, and offered to fly him to California to film additional scenes for the show.” After the post, the user adds, “I’m shooketh 😄.” This leads to fans questioning all of her relationships.

After the initial Reddit post, many fans gave their thoughts on the network paying people to date Whitney Way Thore. Many believe all the dates have been arranged by the show. And her relationships are superficial.

- “This is as bad as that time in season 4 where she ‘accidently’ ends up on a date with her female high school friend, literally no date has been genuine they are even still pulling the same crap in recent seasons with toy boy Rishi and virtual squirrel guy whoever he was.”
- “I totally believe this – but my question still is…..does Whitney think it’s real? How much is she in on the set up? Is she in on it from the beginning or do they tell her after? It bothers me to think they would set her up with out knowing. I understand she drives us all crazy (yet we tune in) but that is a little mean. That could really mess with someone’s head.”
