What Is Sense And Sensibility About?
The Hallmark Mahogany Sense And Sensibility is based on the iconic Jane Austen novel. What is this romance about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, the Dashwood women are low on funds, with even slimmer prospects. After their beloved family patriarch. Now, thanks to a distant relation to the family, they move into a modest cottage in Devonshire.
Elinor Dashwood (Deborah Ayorinde) is the practical member of the family. The oldest of the three Dashwood daughters, she has fallen for “the equally pragmatic” Edward Ferrars (Dan Jeannotte).
Meanwhile, the romantic middle sister Marianne (Bethany Antonia) has two men interested in her. Their neighbor, Colonel Brandon (Akil Largie) is “steadfast.” However, Marianne is swept up by the dashing John Willoughby (Victor Hugo).
“When Elinor and Marianne’s romantic prospects do not turn out as hoped, each sister learns to embrace the other’s approach to matters of the heart.”

When Will The Hallmark Mahogany Jane Austen Adaptation Premiere?
The premiere of the Mahogany adaption of Jane Austen’s Sense And Sensibility is on Saturday, February 24, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. In addition, this beautiful adaptation will be available on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.

Project Runway Alum Made Costumes For Hallmark Movie
Fans of Project Runway Season 1 will remember Kara Saun, who got second place in the inaugural season. The Hallmark Mahogany Sense And Sensibility features “original costumes by Kara Saun.”
That is not all. Euphoria’s Kim Kimble created the hair designs. Lastly, Vanessa Rile, who is an author and historian, served as the historical consultant in this sumptuous adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense And Sensibility.
Tim Huddleston wrote the script, based on the Jane Austen novel, with Roger Bobb directing.
