Wells Adams Advised Brayden Bowers To Not Propose
Bachelor in Paradise bartender and fan favorite Wells Adams says he advised Brayden Bowers not to propose. What exactly did he tell Brayden and why? Keep reading to find out more.
Wells Adams advised Brayden Bowers to not propose
Fans were stunned when Brayden Bowers popped the question to Christina Mandrell at the Golden Bachelor Wedding. He did ask Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist if it was okay with them before he did it. However, Wells Adams says he advised Brayden not to do it. Why?
US Weekly shared what Wells had to say about the proposal. He said, “I told him he shouldn’t do it. But Brayden did ask Gerry and Gerry gave the blessing, so I think once he gave the OK, it was OK. But yeah, you don’t want to take the spotlight away from Gerry and Theresa, but if anyone can do it, it’s Brayden. He’s the best by the way. I love him.”
Even though Wells had reservations about it at first, he ended up agreeing it was one of the best parts of the night. Wells said, “It was a two-for-one special and that was pretty crazy.”
While these two lovebirds did meet and fall in love off the show, Wells also thinks it would have been great if she had come to Paradise.
Brayden had Gerry and Theresa’s blessing
While Wells Adams was skeptical at first, once he knew Brayden Bowers had contacted Gerry Turner for approval he was okay with him proposing.
Gerry spoke out about it after the fact and clarified that Brayden did ask for his blessing. He said when Brayden spoke to him he asked Theresa and his bride was on board as well.
As far as Theresa was concerned it was to let them be happy. She said, “I say live and let live. The more love the merrier! It’s fine.”
Everything went off without a hitch. Brayden and Christina got engaged and Gerry and Theresa are husband and wife.
Since that night, Brayden has moved to Nashville to be with Christina and her daughter Blakely. He already started work again too. He had his nursing license transferred to Tennessee.
So far the couple has not shared any plans to wed anytime soon. However, anything is possible.
What do you think about Wells Adams being against Brayden proposing at first? Are you glad it all worked out? It was pretty spectacular for Bachelor Nation.
