What happens when a cynic meets a romantic who is hiding a very volatile secret? Here is more about The Love Advisor. According to the UPtv synopsis, Abby is an assistant on the most popular romance podcast that is hosted by her college pal Serena. However, the big secret is that all of the reasons that listeners tune in are for content that Abby writes, not anything originally created by Serena.
Furthermore, Abby and Serena could not be more different. While Abby is a true romantic who sees the potential in love, Serena is a self-absorbed narcissist. Moreover, while Abby is kind, Serena is the brusk and self-centered. Despite Abby’s friend urging her to create her own podcast, she stays on, enduring the toxic work environment.
Over in New York City, hard-hitting journalist Jack is tasked with interviewing Serena. His job is to learn more about the sensational podcast. However, Jack has no interest whatsoever in delving into this frothy world of romance. But, the investigative reporter connects with Abby to arrange an interview with Serena.
When Serena checks out Jack, she only sees that gorgeous hunk that he is. She is game to meet him, and has plans to make him fall for her. Unfortunately, right before the meeting, Serena has a horrific facial disaster. She is in no way able to meet Jack in person. Therefore, she sends Abby to meet him.
Abby does her best to stall Jack from learning why Serena is unable to meet him. Soon, she finds herself talking about romance and love. The two start to connect as they go out doing romantic things.
Ever astute, Jack starts to wonder why the podcast content does not reflect Serena’s personality. What happens when Jack figures it all out?

The premiere of The Love Advisor is on Sunday, January 21, at 7 p.m., Eastern, on UPtv. In addition, the network will be airing encore showings of this movie throughout February. Romcom fans will not want to miss this special romance.
