Brayden Bowers Details Meeting Christina’s Daughter
Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell have had a great relationship so far. After starting to talk in July to meeting for the first time in August, their love just continues to grow. One huge step in their relationship was Brayden meeting Christina’s daughter Blakely. In a new interview, Brayden talks about meeting her and how it’s changed him. Keep reading to find out more.
Brayden Bowers details meeting Blakely for the first time
Brayden Bowers and Christina Mandrell got engaged during The Golden Bachelor wedding. Since then, he packed up and moved to Nashville to live with her and her daughter Blakely. Now, the couple spoke with Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile on Bachelor Happy Hour to talk about when they started talking and how it all began. They also talked to Brayden about meeting Blakely for the first time.
Before Brayden met Blakely in person, he met her on Facetime. Christina said she takes anyone meeting her daughter very seriously and she hadn’t really had a boyfriend since she was 17 and it was her dad. Christina said, “They had already met on FaceTime and she thought he was so handsome and she was 6 at the time, she’s 7 now, but she’s going on 15, 25 sometimes. She really appreciates him and is really emotionally mature.”
Even the first time he flew to Nashville to see Christina, Blakely stayed with her mom. However, when the time did come to meet her things went easier than he thought they would.
He said, “I knew that going into it that it was a big deal to meet her. She’s at an age right now where she’s a sponge and is absorbing everything around her. If I say or do the wrong thing, I could mess up, and I didn’t want to do that. I love her mom and I wanted to make this work. Getting to meet her was surprisingly way easier than I thought it would be like. She’s such a cool kid. She’s so much fun.”

Meeting her changed him for the better
Brayden said meeting Blakely and having her in his life has changed him for the better. He said, “It gives you such a new appreciation for everything because you’re seeing it through the eyes of a kid again. I really loved it in a way that I didn’t expect to love it. You can start getting a little bit jaded and take things for granted, and with her I didn’t take it for granted anymore. […] Blakely has been such a big blessing for me and I really appreciate that part of our relationship.”
He said being around her has made him more intentional with his conversations. Plus, it was a cool reality check for him. Things are going great for the three of them and fans love seeing posts from their adventures together.
