Gerry Turner Shares Why They Chose Susan Noles To Officiate
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and new bride Theresa Nist are opening up about why they chose Susan Noles to officiate their wedding. Of course, fans know that Susan was a contestant on his season. While she didn’t find love with Gerry, she did find lasting lifelong friendships with both him and Theresa. Now that the wedding is over, Gerry and Theresa are talking about their decision a little bit more. Keep reading to find out more.
Gerry Turner shares why he and Theresa chose Susan Noles to officiate wedding
Newlyweds Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast where they opened up more about their wedding. Gerry shared how he and Theresa came to their decision to ask Susan Noles to officiate their wedding.
He said, “I remember the night that we were talking about it and I was a little apprehensive about bringing Susan up knowing it was a fellow previous contestant. I’m not even sure how it happened, but Theresa might have suggested Susan just about the same time I did when we were talking about an officiant.”
Theresa added to his sentiments saying, “It was such an easy decision. We wanted that so badly from the very beginning. We were dying to tell her, but we had to wait for a long time. It was unanimous; we wouldn’t have wanted it to be anyone else.”

Gerry added that he and his new bride often come to decisions without much discussion so it’s been nice. They just click.
Theresa raved about Susan’s performance as well. She noted how wonderful she looked and how she just did an incredible job.
As for Susan, this is what she does for a living and she expressed early on that she would love to be the one to marry Gerry Turner and his chosen one.

Theresa said they all have such a great bond and having them all there was spectacular and they love each of them.
Gerry added to that recalling that night one of his journey was very special to him. Before he had to send anyone home, he remembers everyone at the cocktail party and all of them just having such a mutual respect for each other. He said, “When we are together with those women now, whether that’s at our wedding or any other event, I have that feeling again. We have a bond now that will never be dismantled. It’s wonderful.”
