Southern Charm fans are baffled by Whitney Sudler-Smith’s appeal and how he keeps getting ladies. Since the beginning, he may not have officially settled down but he’s always had a girlfriend. Southern Charm Fans Baffled By Whitney’s Appeal
There are a plethora of men on Southern Charm including Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover. Then, there is Whitney Sudler-Smith, the son of Patricia Altschul, the grand dame of Charleston. For those unfamiliar with the hit Bravo reality series, she is essentially the Lisa Vanderpump of the show. Yet, what some may not know is that Whitney created the SC and is an executive producer, as well. Therefore, he has amassed his own success aside from his established mother. He also gets ladies on the show starting with Kathryn Dennis, pre-Thomas Ravenel.
Then, he had a brief rendezvous with Craig Conover’s ex-girlfriend, Naomie Olindo. Finally, in Season 9, Taylor Ann Green sent him nude photos. Now, fans are questioning how the 55-year-old keeps getting ladies. One Reddit thread started like this:
- For the love of his someone, anyone, explain to me what these women see in Whitney. Like I just cannot even begin to wrap my head around it. Not only is he.. Whitney… but the guy is old enough to be a borderline grandpa. Good lord

Okay, so he seems to have a good balance of money, humor, and education. Many women are drawn to one or all of those traits in a partner. Then, another thread was started about his entitlement and that was a huge turnoff.
Using His Mom For Privilege
Another Southern Charm Reddit, where the post has since been removed, talked about Whitney Sudler-Smith’s privilege. Apparently, he pulled out of Whole Foods in his mother’s Rolls Royce using a handicap sticker. The person who saw this felt it was just a spoiled act. So, what did others have to say about him and did this change their opinion of the sophisticated party animal?

Some people noted that he may have an autoimmune disease that no one knows about. There was also joking about his advanced age since most of the cast is in their early to mid-thirties. Whitney is a very nice looking man. Well ok he his hot and why anyone choose Thomas over Whitney is a fool.
